Where AI earns its cost, where it does not, and how an organisation gets from trial to daily use. Then the delivery to prove it: agents do the building, I do the deciding — and nineteen years keeps the result architecture rather than output.

Distributed systems from the first diagram to the last deployment. I stay through delivery, because the parts of a design that fail are the parts nobody had to build — and because deciding well is the half that cannot be accelerated.

I write the code I specify. Mostly .NET and TypeScript, and enough of the surrounding stack to be useful in a code review rather than only in a meeting.

Speaking, training and mentoring
Public speaker at DevTalks, Architect Summits and industry conferences. Claude Certified Architect — Foundation; I run three-day Claude trainings for client teams and internal sessions. Mentored six engineers through an AP Lab cohort. Co-author of an IBM Redbook.
